Coffee

The North Point, 24 North St, St Andrews.
Famed as Will and Kate's haunt, this little café has much more going for it than star power. The coffee is always always always top notch; seasonal flavorings make coming in the fall and winter highly enjoyable (Pumpkin Spice Latte = awesome). Their scones also make incredible aprés velo snacks or meals, best enjoyed after a cold morning ride: pick up a bag of them and one of their coffees at the end of your ride and you will never regret waking up for the cold, early season miles ever again.
Pillars of Hercules, Pillars of Hercules Farm, Falkland. (Just off the A912, about a mile north-ish of the town itself).
Mind-blowing coffee. Incredible supermarket. If it wasn't a 20 mile schlep to this incredible bodega/cafe/restaurant/organic farm I would most likely live in it. Or at least pour what little money I have into it. So its probably a good thing that its far away. But seriously, go. http://www.pillars.co.uk/

Roadies' love affair with coffee is well documented, so I want to find the best shops in Fife and perhaps a bit beyond even. Look here for places to go, reviews, as well as bags of coffee.

Zest, 95 South St, St Andrews.
Best coffee, best food in all of town. Sponsor-correctness sorted.
Janetta's, 31 South St, St Andrews.
Strong, fairly decent coffee but this is the place for a dopo bici gelato. Unimaginably wide range of flavors. Can't say I've tried all of them, but the few flavors I've had have been excellent. Great selection of cold, refreshing drinks as well. Rumor has it that the owner is a roadie too. Bonus points. http://www.jannettas.co.uk/

Taste, 148 North St, St Andrews.
Great coffee, however the shop itself is extraordinarily small and you might get dirty looks for wearing spandex and being covered in sweat in this very fashion-forward (employees and clientele) establishment.

Tom Danielson Coffee:
From the PRO himself (well, maybe not personally) comes a line of coffee. Must be legit. http://www.tdcoffee.com/home.php

More to come.
